Through our social impact programme, Sonos Soundwaves, we partner with local non-profit organisations focused on three main areas: education, inclusivity, and sustainability. Here's a look at some recent highlights of our progress. [About Sonos Soundwaves]( [Sonos with Education] Education In Seattle, we helped The Residency break down barriers to equitable learning by supporting their Summer Intensive Program, which provides training and stipends to young artists from low-income families. [Inclusivity with Sonos] Inclusivity To promote diversity in the music and tech industries, we surprised 30 young women with scholarships to Girls Rock, a multi-day camp aimed at helping them develop skills in music production, sound engineering, videography, and more. [Sonos Sustainability with Ecology Lab] Sustainability Thanks to one of our grants, the Scripps Acoustic Ecology Lab successfully deployed several bioacoustic instruments off the coast of Santa Barbara to investigate and hopefully mitigate the effects of ship noise on life in the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. [Sonos On Track for Education with Soundwaves]( On track to 100,000 First comes awareness, then action, then accountability. When we established Sonos Soundwaves, we set a goal to support 100,000 hours of education by 2025 and are thrilled to report that we've already reached 70,000.
