Hello, Hope you are doing great! I’m writing this note to thank each one of you who joined us in raising a Toast to some of the most Influential Brands and Brand Custodians at SAMMIE Best Social Media Brands Awards Night. We live in a world where Brands are doing all they can to humanize themselves and Humans are constantly trying to build personal brands. There was a time when Brands found it challenging to humanise themselves no matter how much they tried the journey of building a meaningful relationship was rocky and difficult. And then Social Media entered the chat with infinite possibilities for Brands to connect, communicate and engage just like humans. Social Media Platforms have come a long way over the last decade. From an experimental medium to being a stepchild. Digital is now a twin child, if not the elder one in a brand’s marketing mix. As Social Samosa we have had a ringside view of how this Ecosystem has evolved. SAMMIE is our effort to capture the power and potential of Social Media. When we started SAMMIE in 2016 we were probably the only publication that reported Social Media campaigns and case studies in depth. There were quite a few established Award Recognition Forums. While brainstorming and ideating for Best Social Media Brands we asked ourselves do we need another award to this list? The answer was the under representation and under utilisation of the medium. We spoke to our community, most engaged Readers, Industry Leaders and identified that we need to share & recognise the powerful use cases of Social Media. And hence SAMMIE was incepted to celebrate work that validates Social Media Works. All these years our efforts have been directed towards recognising Brands and Campaigns which set benchmarks to ensure that Social Media rises up the value chain. SAMMIE this year captured the power and potential of new Content Formats, Web3 (Metaverse, NFT), Branded Content, Influencer Marketing and Performance Marketing. You can check out the full list of [winners here]( We will document the winning case studies in our Yearbook of Social Media Campaigns slated to be launched in January 2023 Congratulations once again to all the winners, we look forward to see you all shape the future of the Digital Media Ecosystem. P.S - If you are one of the winners, you can share the joy and happiness of winning SAMMIE with the [Jeeta SAMMIE]( Anthem :) Regards, Hitesh Rajwani Founder & CEO Social Samosa Network [UNSUBSCRIBE](
