What are the Odds?
- [Will the Jets go winless (+200) or get at least one win (-250) before the season ends?]( Jets Post Game
- [The grades are in for Week 11]( --------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Game 10: Another shot at a win slips away Robert Hanashiro/USA Today CHARGERS 34, JETS 28 -- The Chargers did their best to leave the door open for a comeback, but the Jets couldn't claw back from an 18-point deficit, losing for the 10th time in 10 tries on Sunday.
- The pivotal moment came with less than two minutes left, when the Jets -- down eight in L.A. territory -- turned the ball over on downs with a chance to tie the game.
Three things:
- Joe Flacco (15-of-30, 205 yards, two TD's) gave the Jets their first two-game stretch of the season with multiple TD passes. He also threw [the early pick-six]( that swung momentum to the Chargers.
- The Jets chose to punt on a 4th-and-10 on the Chargers' 39-yard line in the second quarter, a conservative decision by an 0-9 team which [baffled]( SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.
- Elsewhere, Jacksonville kept pace with the Jets by losing to the Steelers. The Jags (1-9) are the only real competition at this point for the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Giants -- and Cowboys and Football Team -- creep closer in the NFC East Scott Galvin/USA Today Week 11 of the 2020 season is almost in the books, and no one in the NFC East has more than three wins. Yesterday's divisional results:
- Browns 22, Eagles 17
- Cowboys 31, Vikings 28
- Football Team 20, Bengals 9
The updated standings:
- Eagles, 3-6-1
- Giants, 3-7
- Cowboys, 3-7
- Football Team, 3-7
(Every team remains well in the negative in terms of [point differential](. Washington, at -27, is the best and Dallas is last at -84). The updated [FiveThirtyEight]( chances at winning the division:
- Eagles, 37 percent
- Giants, 23 percent
- Cowboys, 21 percent
- Football Team, 19 percent
(Just two weeks ago, the Eagles had [a 70 percent]( chance to win the division). As for strength of schedule, the easiest path is clearly Dallas. Its next six opponents have a 21-37-2 record. The Football Team (31-29-1) and the Giants (31-28-1) are next with nearly identical opponent records, while the Eagles have the toughest at 34-26. FYI: Dallas and Washington play on Thanksgiving. The winner of that game will hold first place in the division until Sunday at the least. In free agency, the Knicks choose the rebuild over flashy moves Russ Isabella/USA Today: Ed Davis was a Knick for three days Amid a weak free agency class which began signing this past Friday, the most newsworthy part of this weekend for the Knicks was how few things of note they did.
- Leon Rose and the front office didn't give Danilo Gallinari a $20-million-a-year contract.
- They didn't get drawn into an overpay for Fred VanVleet.
- And they didn't get in a bidding war for Gordon Hayward, who eventually went to Charlotte for four years and $120 million.
Instead, they made a series of shrewd and responsible short-term commitments, opting to roll the bulk of their precious cap space over to 2021, which [projects]( to be a much stronger class of free agents. Among the moves:
- Signing Austin Rivers to a [three-year]( deal.
- Signing Theo Pinson to a [two-way]( deal.
- Signing Nerlens Noel to a [one-year]( deal.
- Trading Ed Davis to Minnesota in a saga [that netted]( the Knicks three future second-rounders in all.
Elsewhere, the Nets [locked up]( Joe Harris and [added]( Jeff Green. Read Ian Begley's roundup of Day 3 of free agency for the Knicks [here](.
--------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Three more weekend news items ESPN/YouTube 1. Rutgers football lost an odyssey of a game on Saturday to Michigan, 48-42, in triple overtime. GIF'd above: Noah Vedral's game-tying dash to the end zone on a two-point conversion, which tied the game and sent it to OT. As for a takeaway from the final result, two things can be true:
- The Scarlet Knights blew a 17-0 lead at home.
- The Scarlet Knights took a traditional Big Ten power (in a down year) to triple overtime, fighting back from down eight points in the fourth quarter to extend the game.
Even at 1-4, Rutgers is as watchable as its been in years. 2. Both of New York's MLS teams were eliminated from the postseason on Saturday.
- NYCFC lost in penalties, 1-1 (6-5), despite Orlando City FC's goalie [being given a red card for encroachment]( halfway through the PK session. The team is now 2-7 all-time in playoff games.
- The Red Bulls lost to Columbus, 3-2, in regulation. New York's Brian White scored in the 90th minute to bring the game within one goal.
3. The KBO's Korean Series is tied at two games each entering today's Game 5 (4:30 a.m., ESPN). Former Met Chris Flexen didn't pitch for Doosan over the weekend but [was scheduled]( to pitch today, while former Met Aaron Altherr had two hits and a run in Saturday's win for the NC Dinos.
