1. More details on the MLB season

More info on the newly-minted MLB season has come out over the last 24 hours.
Here's a quick roundup, with help from [this]( Wednesday SNY article...
Opening Day ... will be July 24 for 26 teams, [according]( to USA Today's Bob Nightengale. The other four will play two national TV games on July 23. Gerrit Cole to start the season, anyone?
The trade deadline ... yes, there will be a trade deadline during a pandemic ... will be Aug. 31.
The rosters ... will be expanded to 30 players per team to start, down to 28 players two weeks into the season, down to 26 four weeks in.
Suspended games ... won't be restarted from the beginning. They'll be picked up where they left off on a later date.
Wet rags ... will replace finger lickin' for pitchers. This will, naturally, lead to cheating, thinks former Yankees pitcher Jeff Nelson (featured in our Tweet of the Day).

3. Leon Rose, mysterious leader of the Knicks, speaks

Knicks president Leon Rose has remained an elusive figure since his hiring in March. He still hasn't held an official press conference, but had a video interview with Mike Breen yesterday, which served as his first public remarks with New York.
A few interesting quotes...
Rose, on his coach-hiring timeline:
- "We're anticipating that to go to mid-to-late July, and hopefully by the end of July make a decision, whether it's to keep (interim coach Mike Miller) or to go in a different direction."
Rose, on actually landing a top free agent:
- “What we have to create is an environment where players are going to want to come here. The way to do that is on the day-to-day."
