One far-right Facebook page shared an inflammatory meme informing readers that “liberals” had set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise bail money for the murder suspect, Cristhian Rivera. But although it was widely re-shared and further heightened tensions between the right and left, the meme was completely false. No such GoFundMe campaign exists.
