Discontent provider. Letâs say youâre the owner of a Facebook page that shares humorous memes. Over the years youâve amassed millions of followers, and now you want to turn the meme-sharing endeavor into a full-fledged business. You enter into an agreement with a viral content publisher to share links on your page in return for money. What if you not only never saw the money that the company promised you, but your Facebook page was banned as a result of posting their links?
These were the kinds of experiences shared with us by clients of a company called Providr Inc., whose CEO, Gary Lipovetsky, assured them his posting practices were compliant with Facebookâs policies, when it appears they were not.
