Goodby Silverstein & Partners created a campaign for Doritos that includes a "Triangle Tracker" augmented reality Snapchat lens, which turns any real-world triangle into one of the brand's chips and unlocks a prize code for which the top award is $250,000. The lens will be touted at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards and the push also includes TikTok challenges, out-of-home activations including three triangular buildings in the US turned into giant Doritos and a "Doritos Triangle Island" in Fortnite. The American Association of Advertising Agencies is among ad groups that have jointly written to California's privacy agency urging revision to the state's proposed privacy regulations due to inconsistencies with its Privacy Rights Act.
