72andSunny New York created a "Loopholes" campaign to raise awareness about period poverty. The campaign includes a spot for Loopholes cereal that contains pads and tampons as its "prize" and is available via the government-funded SNAP program, which doesn't help buy period products. The push encourages consumers to lobby lawmakers to support the Menstrual Equity for All Act and was created with a number of nonprofits, plant-based cereal OffLimits and August, a sustainable period product brand. Deutsch L.A., with Taco Bell's Live Mas Productions, created a 15-second spoof movie trailer, "Fry Again," based on fan suggestions that were gathered from a virtual "writer's room" on Twitter. The science-fiction-style spot tells the story of Vanessa, who's stuck in a time loop, which lets her enjoy nonstop Nacho Fries but also means she's constantly having to outwit a futuristic villain. More than 6 in 10 women in the US have experienced burnout in the past week, rising to 83% among those ages 25 to 34, and 66% have not had a pay rise during the pandemic, according to The Exhaustion Gap, a study by Berlin Cameron, Luminar, Kantar and author Eve Rodsky. Berlin Cameron President Jennifer DaSilva says the study shows women face "immense" pressures, which can prevent them from "exercising their creativity, passions and drive for success."
