Former Xerox exec Ursula Burns, who became the first Black female CEO of a Fortune 500 company in 2009, doesn't like that she's still something of a rarity all these years later. Burns, whose memoir "Where You Are Is Not Who You Are" was released this week, is distressed that only five Fortune 500 companies have Black CEOs and that less than 10% of Fortune 500 companies are run by women -- but she knows the talent is out there, waiting to be given an opportunity. Chef Tracy Chang created a nonprofit called "Project Restore Us" during the pandemic, using her Cambridge, Mass., restaurant, PAGU, as a warehouse for groceries to be distributed to out-of-work restaurant workers.
