Female executives still earn less than their male counterparts, according to a Morningstar analysis of companies in the Russell 3000 index. Researchers found that the highest paid women received 84.6 cents per dollar male executives were paid in 2019, an increase from 81.5 cents in 2015, and researchers say more women need to be in executive roles to close the gap.
