Health care organizations see an increasing need to get cyberransom liability insurance because of an uptick in ransomware attacks in the industry, said Paula Litt, a partner with Honigman Business Law Firm, which has an insurance recovery and advisory practice group. When looking to purchase policies, organizations must consider several risks, including malpractice claims and compliance with HIPAA rules concerning electronic health records, said Linda Ross of Honigman.

The report found that 76 certifications in the security field have risen steadily for two years, with the top jobs in Q1 being IT security management and architecture, penetration testing, forensics and cybersecurity.
