Digital Advertising Alliance releases political ad rules

The Digital Advertising Alliance, which is managed by trade groups including the Interactive Advertising Bureau, the 4A's and the Association of National Advertisers, has published rules for digital political ads to provide more information to consumers about who paid for the advertising. "The more that we can give consumers transparency, the better that ecosystem is for all the brands that use advertising," Executive Director Lou Mastria said.
