This week we cover when is it acceptable to have churn, how to combine AI and human input for more effective content, and 14 ways to increase your website traffic organically – plus what’s new in marketing this week – plus plus new marketing job listings!  Courtesy of [Totally Marketing]([](  What’s New in Marketing This Week:  - [Bing, Yes That Bing, Now Has 100 Million Daily Users](. They said it couldn't be done, but Bing now has 100 million daily users. Thanks to the launch of the new Bing, users are suddenly curious to test out the ChatGPT-style features on Bing and Microsoft's web browser Edge. Compared to Google's DAU count (~ 1 billion) this may seem like small potatoes, but it’s significant growth for the search engine that was often the butt of jokes.  - [Discord Is Rolling Out New Features Powered by AI](. The messaging app originally made for gamers and now Gen Z's favorite hangout is rolling out a number of features powered by AI. Coming soon: an AI chatbot, an automated AI moderator, a conversation summarizer, an avatar remixer, and a whiteboard. Some of these features have begun rolling out already, while others will launch in the coming weeks and months.  - [YouTube Overlay Ads Are Going Away](. Starting on April 6, 2023, creators will no longer be able to activate or add “Overlay ads” from within YouTube Studio when accessing monetization options. Why the change? 1) Feedback from viewers who find these ads disruptive. 2) Creators often earn less revenue from overlay ads. 3) Intense competition from other video-sharing platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.   [When Is It Acceptable to Have Churn?]( Generally, people look at churn rate as a bad thing. It means that customers are leaving you: canceling a subscription, not buying from your company. In this episode of Marketing School, Neil Patel and Eric Siu talk about when it’s actually okay to have churn. Tune in to learn:  - What Eric and Neil mean by churn. - Why it’s acceptable to see high churn rates when you are starting out. - How to reduce churn, especially when you’re new. - The importance of collecting feedback when you have high churn. - How you can build a hugely successful company (like Canva) and still have high churn. - Why a tough market is another reason for having a reasonably high churn [Watch the entire 6-minute episode here](.    [How to Combine Machine and Human Input for More Effective Content in 2023]( In 2023, marketers entered a new content battleground. Not only can brands and people become writers and publishers, but now machines can, too. You may already have an inbox full of pitches touting AI tools as a way to quickly create more – but will machine-generated content help you get your audience’s attention? Not necessarily. Google’s position on AI-produced content is clear: “Using automation – including AI – to generate content with the primary purpose of manipulating ranking in search results is a violation of our spam policies.” Yet, Google acknowledges that not all AI content is spam, and AI can serve as “a critical tool to help people create great content for the web.” This CMI article explores important ways to use both AI and humans to improve your content marketing strategy effectively and sustainably. Even ChatGPT admits that content is best when both humans and AI work together! [Read the whole article here](.     [14 Ways to Increase Your Website Traffic (+ Top 10 Tools)]( Traffic.
