This week we cover how ChatGPT will take over the world, I mean change marketing forever, an 8-step checklist for launching a creator marketing campaign, and how to increase your ranking score (domain authority) from scratch – plus what’s new in marketing this week – plus plus new marketing job listings!  [How ChatGPT Will Change Marketing Forever]( In this Leveling Up episode, Eric Siu talks about ChatGPT, an AI-powered chatbot that can solve problems, increase creative output, and help you with almost anything. ChatGPT is going to fundamentally change search. Tune in to learn:  - How ChatGPT will change the world of marketing - How ChatGPT can improve User Experience (UX) and beat Google! - ChatGPT can also generate AI Art prompts - See a tutorial on how to use ChatGPT - What ChatGPT means from a marketing and sales perspective - How to maximize ChatGPT for content marketing - How to integrate ChatGPT into your data to help acquire more customers - Will ChatGPT replace Google? Here’s an example. What’s more useful for the user when they search for “In LaTex how do I represent a differential equation”? This result from Google: Or this result from ChatGPT: [Watch the entire 13-minute episode here](.   [The 8-Step Checklist for Launching a Creator Marketing Campaign]( We’ve written about the [creator economy](. This Semrush article goes a step further and talks about creator marketing. Creator marketing is nuanced and disruptive, making it challenging for many marketers to break into. This piece discusses:  - How to find and qualify content creators who align with your brand - The difference between nano, micro, macro, and mega influencers - Pricing rates for influencers based on post types, channels, and tiers - Important campaign metrics to track - A letter template for creator outreach Plus, a downloadable 8-step infographic taking you through the process of building, launching, and measuring a successful creator campaign. [Read the whole article here](.  [Domain Authority: How to Increase Your Ranking Score from Scratch]( I’ve run into the same scenario more times than I can count: I start working for a client with a brand new site, we develop an incredible content strategy, and then they ask how long it will take to rank on the first page of Google for high-volume, high-competition terms. It’s never fun to explain that no matter how great the content and the strategy, we won’t be hitting those top spots for the top keywords for a little while. Not when the site is relatively new, has no content history, and has a limited backlink profile. New sites naturally have lower domain authorities, which make it harder to compete with established sites that are trusted by and prioritized in search engines. In this post by content marketer Ana Gotter, she goes over everything you need to know about domain authority, including how to check your current score and how you can improve your score, no matter where you stand. [Read the whole article here](.  What’s New in Marketing This Week:  - [Meta’s Been Blasted by the EU Privacy Watchdog for Breaching GDPR — Now What?]( It turns out that Meta has been illegally forcing users to accept personalized ads across Facebook and Instagram for years. Earlier this week, Ireland’s Data Protection Commission (DPC) ruled that the social media giant has been engaging in this practice, even after it changed its terms of use back in 2018. In other words, users must accept Meta’s terms or they can’t use any of its platforms. The ruling and its consequences could fundamentally change how Meta’s ad business makes money in one of its largest markets going forward.  - [Marketers to Focus on Gen Z in 2023 with Dollars Moving to TikTok](. Throughout 2022, marketers focused more on advertising to Gen Z to reach the younger generation as they enter the job market – which meant more ad dollars on social media platforms like TikTok. Brands, like Arm & Hammer and Sourse, are heading into 2023 with an understanding that being bold on social media will pay off more than playing it safe, and that being authentic to this ad-adverse demographic will pay off more than being salesy.  - [Digital Ad Overdose: Are Marketers Waking Up to Reality?]( “Today’s consumers are facing advertising overload. The average American is bombarded with anywhere between 3K and 10K messages per day. Given this reality, can we expect them to notice our marketing messages, associate them with the appropriate brands, and ultimately make their brand choices based on these messages?” This post from the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer of Mastercard generated a lot of curiosity and raised the question: How do you stand out in a world of increasing advertisement overload, especially on personal devices?   BONUS: Here’s a handy cheat sheet on [keyword intent](:  Who’s Hiring: Top Jobs in Marketing  Recession, resmession.
