It’s the last sound my parents heard when their fathers were taken away. It’s the sound of always living in fear, and it’s my family’s real-life story. We escaped from Vietnam just days before Saigon fell to the communists, and we were given a new life in the most generous country on Earth. My name is Hung Cao, and America saved my life. From a young age, I knew I wanted to pay back this country for all it had done for me. I graduated from the United States Naval Academy and served for 25 years in Navy Special Operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia. Now, today, I’m the Republican nominee for the United States Senate in Virginia. [Only in America can a little boy who fled communism grow up to address the Republican National Convention, and last week, I stood on the stage and told my story.]( [JOIN TEAM CAO]( I love this country, but right now, we’re losing it to the radical Left. Our border is wide open, and American families have paid the price with violent crime and even the lives of their loved ones. Look, I’m an immigrant myself, but my family and I came here the right way, and we obeyed American laws and embraced the American culture. That’s not what’s happening today. I love this country so much that I wrote a blank check, up to and including my life, for it. [I’m not going to let the radical Left take away what me and so many other brave men and women fought for.]( [STAND WITH A CONSERVATIVE COMBAT VETERAN]( In November, I know we can win this race, re-elect President Trump, and SAVE AMERICA! My military career may be over, but I’m far from done fighting for this country. [I’m ready to be the next U.S. Senator for Virginia, but I can’t get there without your help. If you’re ready to take back our country, I want YOU to join our team today.]( [JOIN TEAM CAO]( In Liberty, [Captain Hung Cao (USN Retired)]( CAPT Hung Cao USN (RET) [STAND WITH A CONSERVATIVE COMBAT VETERAN]( Paid for by the NRSC.
