Hillsdale sends Imprimis ten times a year—and it does so free of charge. Since Imprimis began in 1972 with a circulation of about 1,000, we have never charged for a subscription. And as I think you know, Hillsdale is one of only a very few American colleges that refuses to accept ONE PENNY of government support—not even indirectly in the form of federal or state student grants or loans. This principled independence frees Hillsdale from many burdensome and corrupting federal regulations—but it also means that Hillsdale is entirely dependent on the generosity of private citizens like you who understand the importance of education to liberty.
