Today we celebrate the service of those in our armed forces, as well as their dedication to democracy and the America we hold dear. Veterans in this country have given America their absolute all in service, and itâs only right that we treat our veterans with the respect and dignity they deserve. Thatâs why I have fought for our veterans in Washington, passing bipartisan legislation to provide veterans with expanded access to preventative health fitness services and receive benefits and healthcare for exposure to toxic burn pits. Our veterans fought for us, and I will always fight for them, too. Together, we must always strive to never forget, or take for granted, the work our veterans do for us every day. We hope this Veterans Day allows you to reflect on the service our veterans have given to this country. We must treat these heroic Americans fairly for their service in the name of protecting us all.
