[You may have noticed that we’re a little quieter on our channels today.]( Hey there, You may have noticed that we’re a little quieter today. THINX Inc. has taken a well-deserved day off to observe International Women’s Day. We’re firm believers that we give value to the things we celebrate (which is why, for example, you’ll find us doing business as usual on Columbus Day), and I wanted to personally invite everyone in our THINX, THINX (BTWN), and Icon community to join us in whatever way fits best for you. This year, the theme of International Women’s Day is [#BalanceForBetter](. As described on their site: “From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance. We notice its absence and celebrate its presence.” How am I spending today? As a working single mother raising a young daughter, I know that to continue the work we do, it’s imperative that self-care and mental health are prioritized. With *balance* in mind, I take this opportunity not just to celebrate the women I work with, but to celebrate my daughter — a member of the next generation, and who will one day be a modern woman herself. (...But not too soon, I hope!) To do our part, myself and the rest of the THINX Inc. team came together this week to pack and hand-deliver 1,000 period kits to the [Women’s Prison Association]( an incredible non-profit that supports women at all stages of criminal justice involvement. If you’re interested in how *you* can show your support, here are [a few simple ways]( to celebrate women in your community — a worthy cause everyday, and especially on this one. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
