I've said it before and I'll say it again, {NAME}: If you love your country, you fight for the people who make it work. Unfortunately, too many Washington politicians don't understand – or refuse to acknowledge – this simple idea. In the last 40 years, corporate profits and salaries of those at the very top have skyrocketed, but the federal minimum wage is just $7.25. It’s long past time that we recognize the dignity of work in our country – and raising the minimum wage is a critical step. That's why I'm fighting as hard as I can in the Senate to advocate for fair compensation, overtime pay, and a higher minimum wage – but to make these values a reality, I need to know that this team is with me. I'm counting on 27 more folks to respond to my live poll before midnight – including you, {NAME}. So please, tell me right now: Do you support raising the minimum wage? [YES]( [NO]( Poll deadline: 11:59 p.m. on Missing response from: {EMAIL} Thanks for speaking out. Change only comes when we all work together. In solidarity, Sherrod This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
