Catherine, Maggie, Patty, Tammy, Cheri, & Val need our help. ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ [Sherrod Brown - Senator from Ohio] {NAME}, a woman’s right to make her own personal health care decisions is on the ballot. That’s more true this election than ever before, because these are our first midterm elections since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Since then, the GOP has introduced a bill to ban abortion nationwide and anti-choice laws across the country -- including here in Ohio -- have gone into effect, making it harder for millions of women to access reproductive care. If we’re going to restore the rights that politicians are taking away, then we need to protect and expand our pro-choice Senate Majority. EMILY’s List -- a leading resource for women in politics -- is working to elect six pro-choice Democratic women this November. [Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (NV), Maggie Hassan (NH), Patty Murray (WA), and Tammy Duckworth (IL) are up for re-election and Cheri Beasley (NC) and Val Demings (FL) are running to flip key Senate seats. They need our help, {NAME}. Will you split a contribution between their campaigns?]( Catherine won her race in 2016 by just two points, becoming the first Latina elected to the Senate. Now, she's facing a Trump-endorsed opponent and the National GOP is running misleading ads against her. Maggie’s last race was decided by only 1,000 votes -- one of the closest in the country that year -- and recent polls show her race this year could be just as close. Patty is a longtime champion for women. This year, she’s on the ballot against an opponent who’s made repeat appearances on Fox News and is spending millions of dollars to flood the airwaves with ads. Tammy is a veteran, a mom, and an extraordinary leader in the Senate. Her opponent wants to pass a total abortion ban with zero exceptions -- even in cases of rape, incest, or to protect the life of the mother. Cheri is the first Black woman to serve as the Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Now, she’s running to flip North Carolina’s Senate seat, but first, she has to defeat a Trump-endorsed opponent who voted to overturn the 2020 election. Val is competing for one of five Republican-held Senate seats considered most likely to flip this year, and recent polls show her up by four points. We need to do everything we can to help Catherine, Maggie, Patty, Tammy, Cheri, and Val win their races, because it would only take one seat for Mitch McConnell to take back the Senate and pass a nationwide abortion ban. [Our grassroots support can help all six EMILY’s List women organize and reach voters in their states in these final weeks before Election Day.
