Then, after our victory last August, just three months later, voters again turned out in droves to overwhelmingly support the abortion rights amendment to enshrine reproductive rights in Ohio's Constitution. So today, on Women's Equality Day, I'm reminded of the power we have when we stand up, use our voices, and work together to protect the freedoms Ohioans have demanded and deserve. But unfortunately, despite these decisive victories, our fight for abortion rights and reproductive freedom is far from over. Politicians, including my MAGA opponent Bernie Moreno, are working to pass a national abortion ban, which would overturn the will of Ohioans. He told CNN as recently as last month that he still supports a national abortion ban and that he's "100% pro-life with no exceptions." My opponent has made it clear that he thinks he knows better than Ohioans or that he simply doesn't care what we think. Fighting back against that kind of arrogance is one of the most important parts of my job. I have always fought for women's freedom to make their own health care decisions, and I always will. But GOP megadonors are pouring MILLIONS into Ohio to try to defeat me, and now recent polls show me and my MAGA opponent in a statistical tie in this race that will decide Senate control.
