Hi, friend. Most people know I love baseball and am a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Guardians. Not only are they my hometown team and currently in first place – they're also an inspiration to this campaign. You see, the Guardians are outspent by nearly every other major league team – but they've got incredible players who play with grit, determination, and resilience, and they continue to win. That describes our campaign pretty well, too. Republicans might outspend us, but they can never match the fight of this group of grassroots supporters. Supporters like you, friend. And just like it's a long road to the World Series, this reelection has been the toughest political fight of my life. Polls show I'm statistically tied with my opponent, and I'm up against record-setting spending from GOP super PACs. Control of the Senate hangs in the balance, and I know we can win this thing, but we have to work together. [That's why I'm asking, will you chip in $5 or more to help us meet our $100,000 fundraising goal by midnight? Together we can protect our Senate majority, win in Ohio, and show the power of this grassroots movement. >>]( [CONTRIBUTE]( Grateful for you, friend – and go Guardians!
