Trending Loveable Stories [:newspaper:] SMILES [Singer Luke Bryan Adopted Late Sister’s Kids]( Meet Luke Bryan - the country music star who not only sings his heart out on stage but also has a heart of gold. He and his wife Caroline are proud parents of two sons, and they also raise their three adopted nieces and nephew on their Tennessee farm called Red Bird Farm. The farm is named after Luke's sister Kelly, who had a love for red birds. Unfortunately, Kelly passed away unexpectedly in 2017, leaving her children without parents. Before that, Luke's brother Chris died in a car accident when he was 19. These tragedies have brought the family closer together, and they have learned to appreciate every moment they have together. Caroline's family has also experienced a devastating loss when her niece Sadie Brett passed away from a heart condition at just seven months old. In memory of her, a field of bright flowers and a party barn were built on the Bryan farm. The barn is also home to rescue animals such as a white pony named Kilo, a rescue goat named Goober Goldsby, mini horses, pigs, and a donkey. The farm features a 10,000 sq. ft. home, a 1,800 sq. ft. guest house, and the party barn. The guest house is a cozy space that features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, media room, front porch, and screened-in porch. It's also near a catfish pond, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Despite the family's losses, they remain positive and appreciate every day. They honor their loved ones' memory by living and being a positive light for others. For them, having family close by and celebrating together is important. It makes the special moments even more meaningful, knowing that their loved ones are smiling down on them. They have been happily married for 66 years and are proud grandparents to 100 grandkids of all different ages. Yes, you heard that right: 100! With that many grandkids, you can only imagine the picture frames their walls are adorned with. And after years of waiting, their 100th grandchild was born in 2015, Jaxton Leo Zanger. What’s most remarkable is that the Zangers only started with 12 children of their own. With 27 years separating the eldest from the youngest, the family tree continued to grow as the children started their families. It’s no wonder that family events can barely be held in their homes, with the Zangers renting out church buildings to celebrate special occasions. “When we get together, it’s big. It’s really big,” shared their daughter, Donna Lane. Despite the sheer number in their family, the Zangers love spending time together and never grow bored. Any family member who moves away knows it’s no easy feat to attend every gathering, but with a majority of their beloved family living close by, the Zangers can easily call their family events a success. Leo even jokes that their family “could start their own town.” Though it sounds crazy, anyone with 100 grandkids could certainly make it happen. And with so many young families enthusiastic about starting their own, the Zangers believe the family tree is only going to continue growing for years to come. It’s amazing to see a family come together in such an incredible way, and it truly is a testament to the beauty of love and togetherness. There’s no doubt the Zangers will continue to thrive and love each other for many years to come.
