[Man Collects Half a Million Pennies Over 45 Years]( Have you ever collected something special to you? Well, Otha Anders from Louisiana definitely has. For over 45 years, he collected pennies and managed to accumulate over half a million of them! At first, he wasn't trying to get rich or anything like that. He simply enjoyed collecting the pennies, and even saw them as a reminder to stop and say a prayer. Whenever he saw a penny on the ground, he would pause and take a moment to give thanks. He never accepted any pennies as a gift, either. Anders wanted the satisfaction of knowing that he and God had acquired the collection together. Over time, the collection grew so large that Anders began filling giant water jugs with pennies. His goal was to fill five five-gallon water jugs, but he didn't stop there. He eventually filled up fifteen of them! When he found out that his homeownerâs insurance policy wouldn't cover his collection, he decided it was time to cash in his pennies. It took over five hours to open all of the jars and count the coins, but in the end, the bank determined that his collection was worth over $5,000! It's amazing how something as small as a penny can hold so much meaning and value. For Anders, they represented gratitude and a connection with God. His dedication to collecting them for so long is truly inspiring. So, next time you see a penny on the ground, maybe take a moment to stop and give thanks, just like Otha Anders did. [Snowstorms Result in An Enormous Multi-Room Igloo!]( What brings us happiness? A good book, a night out with friends, or maybe just some good old Netflix and chill? Although these are all great, there's nothing better than enjoying the beauty of Mother Nature. Especially when it comes in the form of a snowy winter wonderland. Blake Dixon is a proud Ohioan who has always been passionate about snow days. He dreamt of building an igloo since middle school, and now his childhood dream has come true. With a little bit of engineering and a lot of persistence, he built his biggest igloo yet! This âsnow castleâ has multiple rooms featuring a sitting area, hallway, and a second room that can host at least seven adults and two kids. The igloo is equipped with a fireplace, a TV, and a nap room that contains multiple layers of blankets to keep everyone warm. Initially, the road to building this dream wasn't easy - the top collapsed, but the team didn't give up. Blake worked hard with his friends to make it happen, and he was thrilled that it is making people smile. In his posts, Blake advised everyone to pursue their dreams and make them happen. Blake has a master's degree in climate change and global sustainability and is âready to save the worldâ. Until then, heâs making people happy with his construction, and that's something to be proud of. So next time you want to relax or have a fun-filled evening with friends, grab some blankets and head on over to Blake's igloo. [(Click here to watch the full story)](
