Trending Loveable Stories [:newspaper:] SMILES [Powerful Last Moments of Grandparents’ 60-Year Love Story]( These photos might bring a tear to your eye, but they also capture something truly beautiful. Emily Hime, the granddaughter of the couple in the pictures, sees them as a testament to the power of unconditional love, especially during the last few months of her grandmother's life. Before her grandmother’s health deteriorated, it was a joke within the family that Grandpa would not be able to survive without Grandma - she did everything for him. But when it was time for Grandma to need help and care, he stepped up in an incomparable way. He learned how to do things he hadn't done before and rarely left her side despite her being hospitalized and later moved into hospice care. He cooked, did laundry, held her hand through chemotherapy, and attended every doctor's appointment with her. Even the hospital staff admired their love and enjoyed watching them together. It's a reminder to us all to choose someone who will be our best friend sixty years down the road, who will hold our hand during the good times and bad, and who isn't afraid to express their love. As Hime concludes, "They had that kind of forever love, the love we all aspire for. They would have been married 60 years next month, and yet, 60 years still wouldn't have been enough." These photos are a poignant reminder that true love endures, even in the face of life's greatest challenges. Three cheetah brothers had been hunting on the Gol Kopjes and quickly became curious about the vehicle. The group was initially enthralled by one of the cheetahs that had hopped onto the hood but it wasn't until Britton, who was in the backseat, noticed another of the brothers joining them inside - right behind him. Everyone in the car felt a sudden wave of tension as Britton knew it wouldn't be wise to startle the animal. Fortunately, Britton's safari guide was experienced enough to keep everyone calm and collected as he instructed them to slow down their breathing, avoid eye contact, and let the cheetah investigate until he was done. The entire ordeal was captured on Peter Heistein's phone camera - a reminder of how close they were from potentially encountering something dangerous. Britton later admitted that this was probably one of the scariest moments of his life and he wanted to remain as still as possible so that things would not go wrong. When all seemed safe again, everyone could finally let out a collective sigh of relief. This incredible story is proof that despite having wild animals so close, people can remain composed and handle things well if they trust their instincts and listen carefully to their guides' instructions. It truly was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!
