[Dog Runs for First Time with Prosthetics]( With a warm heart, Wallace-Griner has provided more than 150 animals with the second chance they deserve at the Safe in Austin Rescue Ranch in Texas. âWe have animals that are blind or deaf, have diabetes, cerebral palsy, deformities, missing limbs, broken spinesâ¦they all become part of our family,â Wallace-Griner said. Halo, a Great Pyrenees puppy, was among these special souls who found solace here after being abandoned due to deformities. After being rescued, Halo needed to have a back paw amputated and her two front paws reconstructed. Halo, however, never seemed to be aware of her differences. She hopped around for most of her life until she received prosthetic legs from OrthoPets. Wallace-Griner put them on just to let Halo feel them, but what happened next brought tears to her eyes. With a burst of determination, Halo stood up tall and proud all by herself. When Wallace-Griner pulled over a carpet, Halo immediately took a step onto it to test her new legs! And finally when someone Halo recognized showed up at the farm gate, off went little Halo in a flurry, marching confidently over to greet them. In no time, Halo was running around the yard with the other dogs. As she wept, Wallace-Griner said, âItâs been an insane rollercoaster of challenges and emotions over the last year. From the moment I brought this little wounded, 4-week-old, one-legged fluff ball home, I knew she was something special! Look what we did guys. Just look at our Halo go!â [(Click here to watch the full story)](

[Heartbroken Veteran Reunited with K9 Dog Partner]( When Jason Bos and his bomb-sniffing Labrador Retriever Cila were paired up in 2008, no one could contain her until she met Bos. Through their mutual respect and admiration grew an unshakable bond between man and beast that was too strong to be broken by anything. Their connection can't be explained through words; even after all these years, Cila still listens intently to what he has to say! Sgt. Bos and Cila accomplished incredible feats together, including searching for dangerous roadside bombs in Iraq and providing Secret Service protection to the President & Vice-President. They even worked the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte and the United Nations General Assembly in NYC! When they weren't saving lives on active duty, Bos spent quality playtime with Cila back in her kennel. In 2012, Bos was injured, separating the duo. Just as Bos began to accept that this could be their permanent goodbye, fate stepped in. A post on Facebook revealed that soon-to-be retired Cila would have first dibs offered back her former Handler! Bos knew his answer without hesitation, and a touching reunion of an inseparable pair ensued shortly after! âI couldnât believe itâ¦I was kind of depressed the last year and a half, so Iâm sure she was too.â With the help of two incredible organizations â American Humane Association & Mission K9 Rescue - Cila's trip from Germany to Chicago became a reality! For 9 long hours, she rode in anticipation until finally reuniting with Bos. Once again, they were a duo! Like a hero returning from battle to the warm embrace of her best friend, Cila was met with well-deserved love and excitement as Bos greeted her off the plane. No more bombs or missions for this courageous pup; just lazy days spent lounging on couches, playing fetch with balls and treats...and lots of walks together! [(Click here to watch the full story)](

[Insane DIY on a $5,000 Trash House]( This house was absolute chaos, having been abandoned by the original owner in 2010 with many years of taxes unpaid for. After years of failed auctions and transactions, the home was finally purchased by the owner of Rehab Life channel on YouTube for $5,166.16. From the outside, this abandoned residence looked like something from a horror movie - tall bushes providing perfect cover for any lurking disturbances. But it was no match for Rehab Life's fearless leader and his tireless crew who braved inside on weekends to tear down the old house and restore its beauty! Who says you can't turn nightmares into dreams? Immediately, it was out with the old appliances, cabinets, and drawers! Doors and windows were removed to let in some much needed natural sunlight and well-deserved fresh air. The floor was next, and although the owner falls through one of the broken floors, he remained undeterred! The house was unrecognizable after the transformation - it went from drab to dazzling with an incredible amount of effort put in. The owner put in an impressive amount of work, including redoing tiles and cabinets, fixing up the bathtub and venting system, and laying down new floors with his own two hands. Truly inspiring stuff! After a long and beautiful one-year journey of renovation, it looked like something out of a fairy tale. Unfortunately though, the tenants who moved in after weren't so kind to his masterpiece - leaving behind them an ugly trail of damage on their departure! But with resilience that never knows defeat, our hero was back at work giving this tired old residence another revamp; transforming yet again into something right out of dreamland. Wonder if he'll get some more reliable folks as tenants this time around? [(Click here to watch the full story)](
