Some of these fur babies are pure divas! 🐶🤣 📰 LOVEABLE STORIES Image courtesy of YouTube - NBC News SMILES [Boy Uses Slingshot To Save Sister’s Life]( On what seemed like just another quiet day, 13-year-old Owen Burns was playing games in his room when a sudden scream from his sister shattered the silence. As he rushed to the window he saw an unknown man trying to force his 8-year-old sister into the nearby woods. With no time to waste, [Owen grabbed a bat and his trusty slingshot](. If one didn’t work, he knew darn well the other would. Cool as a cucumber, Owen loaded up his wrist-rocket with a marble, lined up his shot from 200 feet away, and let it fly. Owen’s aim was sure and true- the marble pegged the would-be kidnapper square in the head. It was an incredible shot, to be sure, but [Owen wasn’t done](. He picked up a nearby rock and fired it across the same distance, striking the man right in the chest. Talk about a perfect shot! His quick thinking stopped the assailant in his tracks. He dropped Owen’s sister and made a run for the woods. Thankfully, he didn’t make it far and there wasn’t any plausible deniability for the kidnapper, either. It turns out that getting beaned with a slingshot not once, but twice, can leave enough evidence for the cops to identify a person, and that’s just what they did. The police found the 17-year-old perpetrator hiding out at a gas station, sporting the tell-tale signs of Owen’s handiwork. Everyone in town couldn't stop talking about how brave Owen was, stepping up big time to keep his little sister safe. After everything settled down, Owen’s family was just happy they could go on celebrating his sister’s birthday instead of mourning something way worse. In an [interview with Owen]( and his family, he calmly gave the most solid advice a 13-year-old could give to the parents who tuned in for it— “if your kid wants a slingshot, get them one.” [(Join the Facebook discussion here)]( Image courtesy of YouTube - Bring It North Official TALENT [5 Boys Blend Voices For Unbelievable Song]( Boy bands have a way of capturing hearts and the young lads from "Bring It North" are no exception.
