Check out what Ruud saw at Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire this weekend. [Shapeways] --------------------------------------------------------------- Scanning Up a Storm at Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire [Makerfaire] Anouk Wipprecht is being 3D scanned by Astrid. Last weekend we sent community manager Ruud van den Muijzenberg and a team of 3D scanners to Eindhoven Maker Faire to check out the lay of the land. We saw tons of amazing projects from over 100 makers. The diversity in the creations was on display from football (soccer in the USA) playing robots to wooden guns for rubber bands. We're so proud to be home to the largest community of makers in the world. We brought our maker medium of choice to Mini Maker Faire: 3D Scanning. Our scanning team of Brigitte and Astrid scanned dozens of faire-goers including some maker community celebrities like Anouk Wipprecht of Spider Dress and Unicorn Horn fame. [See our blog] for more about Ruud's time at Mini Maker Faire, and view a video recap of his experience. Also, stay tuned for information about New York City Maker Faire that we will be participating in at the beginning of October. It is well documented that cat people tend to need less external praise compared to our lovable counterparts, dog people.
