Let it get the best of me Here's a snapshot from a not-so-proud moment of mine. I was in a terrible mood. Olivia caught me snapping over trivial stuff. It got to a point where she had to intervene. "Why so edgy?" she inquired. Like many, my reflex response was "nothing". But Olivia wasn't having it. She handed me a notepad, "Pour it out, every nagging thought." Reluctantly, I did. 20 minutes. That's all it took. The list was surprisingly short. Mostly worries about recent sales numbers and a couple of projects. Yet, hereâs the kicker. I was replaying these concerns on a ceaseless loop. Causing unnecessary anxiety and overwhelm. This realization was crucial. Overwhelm tends to come from feeling out of control. Writing down your swirling thoughts is liberating. It's a tool I now rely on, using [obsidian.md](. Those fears and anxieties? On paper, they lose much of their sting. It declutters the mind. A simple act, profound results.
