I felt totally alone with this Without question, my biggest struggle in business is something that left me feeling isolated, stressed and like a failure. It’s something that we all have to learn one way or another and it took me far longer than I’d like to admit, to get a handle of it. And I’m ashamed to say it’s still not where I want it to be. You have to understand that my vision for a perfect business is something that runs and operates WITHOUT me. That might sound arrogant, lazy…even impossible. But my true opinion is that however successful I can make a business, it can be ten times more successful without me. The further away I am from the operations of the company, the better - simple as that. And in order to do that, I need to have absolute mastery over 3 core areas. Delivery/operations. Finance. Sales and marketing. Delivery and operations is taken care of by our partners and they provide world class service. Literally ZERO issues here because (say it with me) Mike was no where near that part of the business. Sales and marketing is currently being done by the books, YouTube content, social media and SEO/blog posts. I have a decent sized email list that grows each day and we’re working on content creation that doesn’t need me. That leave…finance. Specifically finance and admin. And this is my biggest area of weakness. It’s my biggest struggle. For a few reasons, not least because “modern” banking is a laughable term for an industry so woefully behind the times. And the plan is to get the finance aspect of the business completely out of my hands. Income, expenses, profit, tax and payroll all on autopilot. Partly because I’m bad at it and partly because I am the biggest chokepoint for that part of our business. Remove me and watch the business grow. How about you? What’s your biggest weakness? Have courage, commit and take action. Mike P.S. Here’s some more ways I can help your funnel business grow. 1.
