Hindsight is a funny thing Hindsight is a funny thing, isn't it? Looking back on my years at university, they didn't set me up for success in the way you might think. If I'm being brutally honest, I wouldn't go back. At least not in the traditional sense of seeking a degree purely for the sake of a career. Unless it was to indulge my long-standing love for paleobiology, of course. Because, let's face it, who wouldn't want to immerse themselves in a world of ancient life forms? Today, young people face an extraordinary amount of debt for a system that feels somewhat out of sync with the rapidly evolving professional landscape. But don't mistake this for regret. I'm not one for regret. Because university did pave the way for my first job in corporate marketing. While that chapter ended with me getting my marching orders, I can't deny the wealth of connections I made, the incredible people I met, and the life-altering meeting with a certain someone who's now my wife. Sometimes, the universe has a peculiar way of charting our courses. University also shone a light on the expansive and diverse fields of work that are out there, ripe for the picking. It was as if I was peering into an endless vista brimming with opportunities, awaiting those brave and curious enough to explore. The sheer variety of disciplines was a stark reminder that there's always a place for us somewhere. We just need to find the will and courage to look for it. And let's not forget the experiences outside the lecture halls. Those heady nights out, the lifelong friends made, the all-round wild times. They were as much a part of my university experience as the education itself. I can't deny that those experiences helped shape the person I am today. They gave me a taste of life's various flavours and taught me valuable life lessons that no textbook could. Having those memories makes me smile, not out of a longing to relive them, but out of gratitude for the experiences that now only exist in the echoes of raucous laughter and clinking glasses. In the end, my university journey wasn't just about academic enlightenment. It was about the people, the experiences, the personal growth. And while I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as the only path to success, I can't deny the fact that it was a significant waypoint on my journey. But would I go back? Nah. I've lived it, loved it, and left it. And now, it's onwards and upwards. Always. P.S. Here's some ways I can help your funnel business double it's revenue. 1. Buy the book [Five Figure Funnels](.
