By trusting my tummy I wanted to share a little story with you today. About the importance of trusting your gut in business. You see, sometimes our intuition can save us from tricky situations, even when we don't have all the facts. So, there I was, about to meet with the husband of one of my wife's friends. He was interested in having a website created, and my wife thought it would be a great opportunity for me to work with someone in her circle. I was open to the idea, but as soon as we sat down to chat about the project, something felt off. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but this guy came across as a bit arrogant and pompous. It almost seemed like he thought he was doing me a favour by offering me the chance to work with him. I didn't have any concrete reason to turn him down, but my gut was telling me to be cautious. So, I decided to trust my instincts and set the price for the project super high, hoping that he'd walk away. And guess what? It worked. He turned me down, and I breathed a sigh of relief. A few weeks later, I found out from a fellow freelancer friend that my intuition had been spot on. They took on the guy's project and quickly realised what a nightmare he was to deal with—constantly demanding changes, never satisfied, and just an overall headache. My friend was regretting ever agreeing to work with him, and I couldn't help but feel grateful that I had trusted my gut and avoided that whole mess. The moral of the story? Trusting your gut can save you from a world of trouble, even in business. Sometimes, it's better to let opportunities pass when something just doesn't feel right. And who knows? By doing so, you might even make room for an even better opportunity to come your way. P.S. Here's some ways I can help your funnel business double it's revenue. 1.
