Goshdarn do I hate social media. Social media is like going to the cinema if everyone is encouraged

Goshdarn do I hate social media. Social media is like going to the cinema if everyone is encouraged to talk over the adverts, which are longer than the move and you have have to listen to other people loudly eating. But there’s no doubt some awesome opportunity if you use it correctly. What I’m about to outline to you is how we launched a $143,266 coaching/agency product to Facebook in about 3 months. - We sent friend requests (a lot) to build a following - We posted dumb, useful and marketing posts - We kept it up Part 1: We sent friend requests (a lot) to build a following What you want, to launch a product (or sell your current product to a new market) is an audience. It’s way easier to launch something to people who are following you. And Facebook makes it free to add requests. So I send about 50 new requests a day. To automate that, we used [Pepper]( which can add up to 50 people a day from groups that you belong to. Roughly 17 a day would accept the request and we absolutely did NOT immediately pitch them - that’s for amateurs. Instead, we’d just send a message saying hello and leave it at that. If they wanted to have a conversation, they’d let us know in part 2: Part 2: We posted dumb, useful and marketing posts On Mondays we would post something dumb, like low hanging fruit, to our Facebook profile. Controversial or opinion based questions worked well. It was basically comment bait. Stuff like: - Pineapple on pizza, yes or no? - Delete ALL your social media, or keep it - but you have to post whenever you go to the bathroom - What’s your favourite app for productivity? Tuesdays would be an opinion or value post. Like a mini blog post talking through a topic. Usually I’d explain why they’re wrong about something, like [this](: These were designed to build a bit of authority, educate and show people over and over what I talk about. I’d sometimes tease some training or free content later in the week. Or I’d use this day to showcase something based on me and my personal life. Wednesdays were either a case study or pure training. I’d answer a common question, talk through a mistake or show a model. This would usually be a video of some kind. Thursdays were some kind of call to action. Live training, stream, or promoting a lead magnet that they could get if they commented below. For those doubting the power of these types of posts, [this post here]( is responsible for over $40,000 in sales alone: People who commented on these posts would get a PM and we’d start to qualify them. If they were a fit, we’d offer them a call and so on. Friday was either a “behind the scenes” or a direct call to action. We’d show off what we’re building or something in progress. Or I’d talk about a customer or a team member. Sometimes I’d be SUPER direct: “Hey I’m looking to work with an agency doing over $20,000 a month to get them to $40,000 a month in 30 days - PM me for deets”. You’d obviously get way less engagement, but more qualified folks messaging you. Part 3: We kept it up For months. Over and over. Measuring post activity every day, replying to comments, messaging people, measuring requests/accepts. Each time tweaking what we did next week and the next. Some stuff would EXPLODE. Some stuff would sink. Overall though, what mattered was doing it over and over. Sell Your Service value #4: If you’re not going to do something 1000 times, don’t do it once. I’ll be honest, we had pretty good results within about a month. But that was almost certainly a mix of having the right messaging, me willing to be controversial and planning and refining. It was hard work, we still do it and it’s unlikely to go away any time soon. Have courage, commit and take action. Mike P.S. Here's some ways I can help your funnel business double it's revenue. 1.
