Hey {NAME} I’m deleting (most) of my socials. A few weeks ago I came back from a speaking event and frankly, I was a little deflated. Maybe I was disillusioned or perhaps I had false expectations. But overall, I wasn’t sure about the direction of my business. Plus, like a lot of us, I’d been struggling with sales recently (not great for a sales coach, lol) and so I fell into the worst trap imaginable. FOMO. I started comparing myself to others and coveting what they had. Worse still, I thought that I could start something new that would get me results faster, than what I had. Recognise anything here? I felt I had a problem in the business, so in order to fix it, I decided to start some NEW projects. It’s like being 90% to the top of the mountain and deciding to start climbing another mountain, because the last 10% is hard work. Moronic. If there’s one piece of advice that’s served me well, it’s this: “Life is easy when it’s simple. It’s keeping it simple, that’s hard.” Instead of listening to that advice, I started 3 new social channels. And started using the other social platforms I was using. Plus keeping the social channels I was already using. Plus my email list. Plus my actual coaching group. I was looking for quick fixes. I wanted instant, faster results. And it was exhausting. SO - I’m deleting my Facebook group with over 3000 people in it. Why? So I can focus on 1 channel that really matters to me. I’m also deleting my Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. I want to double down on my paid coaching group and do everything I can to get them killer results. And I love YouTube, so I’m going to spend more time in there, working on the best videos I can. But Mike! I’m in your Facebook group! Then you’ll know how low value and low quality it is. I’ll still be doing tons of free content, training and having conversations - just via YouTube. The truth is, I’m just not giving it all the attention I could. The groups that ARE crushing it, like GoWP, Admin Bar and High Level are still dearly important to me and I’ll be in there from time to time too. Speaking of which, if you’re looking for groups that are 100% worth joining… Digital Marketing Agency Success [( Marketing Agency Automation Secrets [( Digital Agency Owners Community | Helping agencies grow and scale (personal favourite): [(ttps://www.facebook.com/groups/gowpdigitalagencyowners/) HighLevel - Official Community [( The Admin Bar Community: [( ScoreApp: [( So what if I want advice from you? Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
