While we didn’t have any big Google algorithm changes last week, we did have some big news. Let me catch you up. Google Search Generative Experience (SGE) can [create images and text](). SGE is also testing a [lite version](). Also of note, the new [Google-Extended directive won’t]() stop your content from being used in those AI-snapshots in the SGE interface. After over a decade of Google having indented search results, Google decided it was no longer helpful to indent results anymore and stopped doing so a few weeks ago. Danny Sullivan, Google’s Search Liasion [confirmed this](). There were no [big indexing issues]() last week, like we had the week prior. But a lot of people are complaining about indexing issues. I suspect that has to do with the core update rolling out now and Google’s algorithm deciding those pages do not deserve to be indexed.
