Struggling with Google's New Merchant Experience ? Here's how to make the most of the new dashboard.

Struggling with Google's New Merchant Experience (NMX)? Here's how to make the most of the new dashboard. [View in browser]( | [Share]() [Search Engine Land]() Dec 09, 2022 Dec 09, 2022 Good morning, Search Marketer, are you playing with ChatGPT yet? I typed in a variety of prompts yesterday to test it out. There are definitely some use cases for SEO and marketing (e.g., “Give me 20 topics to write about on [insert topic here]” had some solid results). It also managed to write some decent email templates and 1,000-word blog posts that could have been usable with some human intervention (read: creativity, fact-checking and editing).. However, ChatGPT is far from perfect – for now, your job is safe. Unlike Google Docs, which earlier this year I reported was able to [write some decent meta descriptions](), ChatGPT failed miserably at composing anything resembling a usable summary, let alone sticking to 160 characters, in my testing. Meanwhile, SEOs have been sharing plenty of fun examples on Twitter and Mastodon – @jamesfgibbons had a couple of my favorite tweets on ChatGPT that may help you get a flavor for the possibilities of ChatGPT: - [“write a treatise in the style of president john f kennedy on why #seo organic marketing is far superior than paid search or #ppc , do not use the first person”]() - [“write a script in the style of Seinfeld that describes the relationship between #seo marketers vs #ppc marketers and the fight over budget allocation within an enterprise organization”]() Danny Goodwin,Managing Editor, Search Engine Land & SMX [How to make the most of the new Google Business Profile dashboard]() Google's New Merchant Experience (NMX) has rolled out.
