And, Google adds additional CTV buying options in Display & Video 360 [View in browser]( | [Share]() [Search Engine Land]() Aug 19, 2022 Aug 19, 2022 Good morning, Search Marketer, Google is launching a new algorithm update. Are you ready? The helpful content update, launching next week, will be significant, will be applied site-wide, and aims to reward content that has been written for humans, rather than search engines. Does it sound great in theory? Absolutely. And I’m seeing a lot of positive reaction to the news so far. However, let’s remember that this update won’t be good news for everyone. Many of us are biased to think our own content is high-quality. But your definition of helpful content won’t necessarily always align with Google’s. So maybe hold off on the celebrations (for now). And Google isn’t stopping there. The fifth product reviews update – called the August 2022 product reviews update – will also launch soon. Stay tuned. Search Engine Land will continue to keep you up to date on all the latest developments and fallout of these algorithm updates in the coming weeks.
