The new regulations already apply to Merchant Center. Effective yesterday, Google isn’t allowing rich results markup on any content that promote weapons, drugs, gambling products and fireworks, to name a few. If your business advertises any of the products that fall into the above categories, you’ll want to remove structured markup to prevent Google from completely removing your product from results.
