Plus, Google’s latest local test shows missed calls. Oct 09, 2020 Good morning Search Marketer, welcome to Friday, I hope you have some nice weekend plans. Nicole DeLeon’s North Star Inbound has released its [Diversity and Inclusion in SEO report](. It is an in-depth, detailed look at 326 SEOs perceptions of and experiences with bias and discrimination across different groups, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+. Within their own companies, 59% of BIPOC respondents and 56% white respondents said bias and discrimination is a problem. The report outlines the impact that gender, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation and other biases have on those who experience discrimination, including decreased productivity, earnings and well-being. In addition to comments from respondents, one of the most instructive and impactful pieces of the report is the section on microaggressions and the subtle and not-so-subtle ways bias and discrimination take form.
