[{NAME}, I’ll be honest: This is a long email. It’s Election Day, and I know waiting for the results can be stressful. That’s why I wanted to take a moment before results start coming in to share some personal reflections with you. It would mean a lot to me if you read the whole thing -- but if you’re short on time (it’s a busy day!), will you chip in $15 to my campaign one last time to push me across the finish line? I truly couldn’t do this without your support. >>]( {NAME}, I’m no stranger to a good challenge. My first election was against an incumbent Republican bankrolled by special interests (I won). I won re-election in 2016 even as Donald Trump carried my district. I took on the role of Chairman of House Democrats’ campaign arm knowing how difficult this midterm would be. [And now, my race against an anti-choice MAGA Republican has been declared a “toss-up” -- and National Republicans have spent $9 MILLION to take me down and flip my district red. That’s why I’m asking you one final time before the polls close, {NAME}: Can you chip in $15 to help me turn out every last voter and win my race? >>]( {NAME}, as I think about the political battles of today, I’m also thinking of the ones already won. I came out as a gay man long before marriage equality was on anyone’s radar. Now, my husband and I share three wonderful children. I feel a responsibility to them -- and every young person in this country -- to leave them a world that’s better than we found it. So when it comes to tackling the generational threat of climate change -- it’s personal. When it comes to taking on the NRA and building safe communities -- it’s personal. When it comes to protecting abortion rights and the rights of LGBTQ Americans -- it’s personal. [I’m so grateful for the support grassroots supporters like you have shown me -- and all of our Democrats -- over the past two years. That’s why I’m asking just one more time before the polls close: Will you chip in $15 right now to secure my seat -- and the House Majority? >>]( [Chip in $5 now >>]( [Chip in $25 now >>]( [Chip in $50 now >>]( [Chip in $100 now >>]( [Chip in another amount now >>]( Let’s win this! Sean Sean represents New York in Congress and is leading the fight to protect our Democratic Majority as House party chairman. The first openly LGBTQ congressperson from New York, Sean has spent a lifetime fighting -- and winning -- tough battles. Now, Sean is leading the fight in Congress to fight Republican extremism, protect our health care, and save our social safety net. But Republicans and their special-interest friends are funneling cash every day to defeat Sean and take back our House Majority. He’s counting on grassroots supporters like you to keep this campaign running strong. Will you chip in $10 before midnight to power Sean’s campaign and protect our House Majority?
