[Logo] Hello, Is it India’s moment to shine? ☀️ Well according to IMF’s (International Monetary Fund) predictions, India’s contribution to the global economic growth will be a tremendous 15% in 2023. 🤯🤯🤯 [Image] What are the reasons behind it? Let’s dive in. The IMF in its global growth forecast has predicted a slowdown, going from 3.4% in 2022 to 2.9% in 2023, followed by a bounce back to 3.1% in 2024. Major drivers of this growth? 🇮🇳India & 🇨🇳China What about the 🇺🇲USA and the 🇪🇺European Union ? Both put together will only account for 10% of the global economic growth. 9 of the top 10 advanced economies will witness a slowdown from 2.7% last year to 1.2% this year. What’s driving the slowdown? 📉 The continued war and repeated rate hikes have made easy access to money a thing of the past. The constant rate hikes by the US Fed are predicted to bring the growth expectations down to 1.4% in 2023.😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 On the other hand, India 🇮🇳 has had the highest growth over the past 2 years, and continues to be a bright spot for investors, globally. Our strong consumer market has helped the economy cope with geopolitical & economic storms. Any challenges to India’s growth story? The rising inflation📈 and RBI rate hikes, could potentially dent the domestic demand and growth. Nevertheless, being alive in a time where the growth of our economy is dictating global growth, does seem like an exciting proposition. That’s all for today folks, keep your shades on.
