Scotland goes into full lockdown Big news this afternoon. A full lockdown will be implemented from midnight tonight in level four areas of Scotland, the First Minister has just announced. Nicola Sturgeon said the situation is "extremely serious" and the new strain of [coronavirus]( is a "massive blow" to attempts to control its spread.
