Tim Sheehy and his backers have virtually unlimited resources to attack me. My opponents are spending nearly $90 million in ads. Sheehy has even poured $2.4 million of his own fortune into his campaign trying to buy Montanaâs Senate seat. To make matters worse, weâve fallen way behind on our fundraising targetsâwhich means weâve got a lot of work to do if we want to catch back up. If we want to beat them, we have to hit our August goal in 2 days. No ifs, ands, or buts.
