The heroic airmen of that time were uniformed in sheepskin bomber jackets to retain their body heat at high altitudes in unheated planes. We kept them warm back then and we still make them the same way, using the exact same machines. Our new 266s blends together the best features of the iconic Army Air Force B-3 with the lighter weight B-6 which was worn by ground crews during WWII.  We reimagined the traditional designs by removing the heavy leather collar straps, waist straps, and shoulder epaulettes, presenting a sleek appearance and slimmer fit than our B-3 (style 257S).  The jacket's sophisticated black leatherized sheepskin shell is complemented by black cowhide trim and brown wool interior. A unique feature is the map patch pocket, an homage to the aviator heritage, offering both functionality and a nod to the adventurous spirit of its wearers.
