We love seeing jackets that have been made in our factory over the decades after they have been out in the world. Every scratch and wrinkle is like a badge of honor and tells a story of who wore it, where they traveled and the adventures they experienced along the way. We always say our past is our future which is why we look to our vintage archives to inspire special new styles like this. [SHOP NOW]( For our new "D- pocket" motorcycle jacket, we are using leather from one of the highest regarded tanneries in the world. Shinki-Hikaku, based in Kobe, Japan, has been creating specialty horsehide since 1951 with a unique process that can take months. The 3oz teacore leather has a rare texture and grain with a supple hand feel. As the jacket breaks in, the black crust will wear away revealing a lighter colored core. This is how jackets used to be tanned back in the day which is why you see so much color variation in vintage jackets. [SHOP NOW]( The finishing process makes this leather feel soft and malleable from the moment you try it on. The combination of oils and waxes in the leather allow it to hold its own shape while being ready to mold to your body. From the first wear, it feels like it's already broken in. This leather speaks for itself so we kept the details intentional. Mixing design elements from several styles in our vintage archives, we combined our original Perfecto motorcycle jacket's "D-pocket" with a down pointed yoke, an inverted pleat and a fixed half belt at the waist. This biker jacket is slim and sleek without our signature belt or epaulets and features hidden snaps behind the lapels for a more minimalist look. We used Conmar zippers on the 4 chest pockets and added a 2-way front zipper for added comfort while sitting. In the 1950s and 1960s, Conmar was the number one zipper brand for apparel and workwear in the United States. The jacket is lined with a 100% Cotton flannel and features button cuffs at the wrist. As always, it's handmade in the USA and available in stores and online now. [SHOP NOW]( [SHOP NOW]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( FIND A STORE NEW YORK 32 Howard Street, New York, New York 10013| 212-219-1636 LOS ANGELES  101 S.
