19 books that celebrate Black children

To celebrate Black History Month, we’re sharing some of our favorite books: [Save the Children]( [19 BOOKS THAT CELEBRATE BLACK CHILDREN - EXPLORE]( Friend, February is Black History Month, an important time for reflection, celebration and acknowledgement. My name is Janel Noblin and I’m on the digital content team at Save the Children. I’m also a member of our B.L.A.C.K. (Brave Leaders Advancing Culture & Knowledge) Employee Affinity Group. I love being part of the B.L.A.C.K. EAG because it allows me to connect with fellow colleagues who share a similar background/identity. As an EAG, we can come together as a community and it grants us the opportunity to support, educate and share with each other. So today, I’m excited to share a booklist with you – that members of our EAG collaborated on – to help celebrate Black History Month! This booklist matters to me because it celebrates not only Black authors but our beautiful Black culture. [These titles educate, engage and empower our little ones (and sometimes us grownups too).
