Will you take a moment to read these stories? [Save the Children]( On Monday, we’ll honor World Children’s Day. This is a time to celebrate how far we’ve come in our work to support and uplift children around the world. But it’s also an important day to recognize just how much work is still ahead for children in crisis like Ismael,* Bara’a* and Nirina. [Meet 13-year-old Ismael. When violence intensified in Sudan, Ismael and his family sheltered at home - eating and drinking what few supplies they had. But when it was clear that the clashes weren't going to stop, they were forced to flee. Now, they're living at a center for displaced families, where Ismael attends a Save the Children Child Friendly Space to play with other children and escape the harrowing hardships he has experienced.]( [Meet 9-month-old Bara'a. Bara'a, Bayan and Bhiya are triplets who live with their family in Northeast Syria, a region that was already struggling with more than 10 years of civil war when a devastating earthquake struck in February. These compounding crises have pushed millions into poverty and hunger. Bara'a and her sisters are being treated for malnutrition at a Save the Children nutrition center, where they receive therapeutic food and Plumpy'Nut - a lifesaving nutritional supplement.]( [Meet 13-year-old Nirina. Nirina lives in Madagascar, where his parents are farmers and run a small grocery store. He says that the devastating cyclone that struck his community in 2022 marks the arrival of climate change. Nirina belongs to a Disaster Risk Reduction club run by Save the Children, which helps students prepare for disasters and mitigate risks in their own daily lives.]( With war, hunger, disaster and other hardships threatening children’s lives and futures like never before, this World Children’s Day is especially important. We hope you’ll join us in renewing our commitment to helping as many children as possible grow up healthy, educated and safe – no matter what they’re facing. Thank you, Save the Children If you’re eager to support children in honor of World Children’s Day, a generous group of donors is offering to TRIPLE-MATCH all gifts toward our $200,000 goal until midnight on Monday! [So please, rush a gift now to have it TRIPLED toward more lifesaving resources and care for children in urgent need around the world.]( [Multiply my gift 3X]( A generous group of donors has donated to a matching gift fund to inspire more donors like you to support our mission, and every dollar you donate will unlock $3 from this pool – this means for every $100 you donate, $300 will be unlocked. To unlock this match and help us reach our goal, please click the donation link in this email. All donations will be matched 3x, up to $200,000 or until midnight on Nov. 20, 2023. If we meet our match goal prior to receiving your donation, your gift will not be matched but will still go to support our programs.
