Thank you for being there for children at this critical moment. [Save the Children]( Every war is a war on children – they face physical violence, emotional trauma, exploitation and more. When any conflict erupts, such as the dramatic escalation of violence in Israel and Gaza, your support helps power our work to protect all children affected. Even though humanitarian aid is still being largely blocked from entering Gaza, Save the Children is still doing whatever it takes to help children now and your support is absolutely critical to these efforts. [THANKS TO YOUR GENEROSITY, HERE ARE JUST A FEW WAYS OUR TEAMS ARE RESPONDING TO THIS CRISIS: Working with partners in the region to distribute water and hygiene products to families in shelters: Our partners are also going door-to-door to deliver these items to families in their homes | Preparing supplies for distribution: Including 3,000 hygiene kits, 3,000 dignity kits, 3,000 recreational kits, 3,000 baby kits, drinking water, PPE, medical supplies, mattresses and blankets to be distributed once we have unfettered access to the region | We are working on establishing child-friendly spaces, delivering mental health support, and offering child protection services [SUPPORT THIS WORK]]( Together, we can take action to protect children when they are most at risk. As of now, children in Gaza have been cut off from the basics they need to survive. There is no electricity or fuel, leaving hospitals unable to operate and thousands of lives at risk, including premature babies who rely on electricity-powered incubators to keep them alive. Your generous support provides light during their darkest moments, helps them survive unimaginable hardships and gives them hope for a brighter future. See below for just one of the child-friendly spaces you’ve helped us establish in Gaza! [Child friendly space in Gaza]( With your support, our teams are doing as much as they can right now, but the sad reality is, not nearly enough humanitarian aid is being allowed into Gaza. Denying children access to lifesaving essentials is a violation of international humanitarian law and we will continue to push for additional lifesaving aid to be delivered. But the only way to truly protect children's lives is to end this violence. We need a ceasefire now, and all children held hostage must be unconditionally released, immediately. Thank you for all you do to support the world’s children. Save the Children The Children’s Emergency Fund is an essential resource as we prepare for and respond to crises around the world, including conflict, the climate crisis and disasters. This fund gives us the resources to act swiftly to save lives, distribute essential supplies, restore education and livelihoods and reestablish a sense of normalcy as quickly as possible. [If you would like to make a greater impact for children affected by the conflict in Israel and Gaza and other crises, please rush a donation to the Children’s Emergency Fund today.]( [RUSH A GIFT]( [Save the Children]( [DONATE NOW]( [Privacy Policy]( | [Contact]( [Unsubscribe]( © 2023 Save the Children Federation, Inc. 501 Kings Highway East, Suite 400 Fairfield, CT 06825 1-800-728-3843 [CREATING IRREVERSIBLE, POSTIVE CHANGE FOR CHILDREN](
