Your support is making a difference in countries facing the worst impacts of the climate crisis. [Save the Children]( [Your support makes a lifesaving difference in Pakistan and around the world!]( As a champion for children, your support can impact children facing devastating hardships around the world. Today, we want to take a moment to highlight the lifesaving difference you can make for children in crisis. In 2022, cataclysmic floods hit Pakistan, putting over one-third of the country underwater and driving millions from their homes – creating even greater food insecurity and worsening chronic malnutrition rates. The event affected more than 16 million children, many in rural areas where people were already struggling with poverty. Powered by the generosity of champions for children like you, we were there to respond the moment disaster struck. [Two women sitting, one holds a small child]( Khaleda was pregnant when the flooding began. As the water rose, she realized it wasn’t safe to remain in her home. She walked through the floods to escape and eventually delivered her baby after a difficult labor. Dahesar weighed just 2 pounds when he was born – fearing for his life, Khaleda brought him to a local Save the Children-supported hospital. Dahesar received care and nutritional support, and he’s now a happy and healthy toddler. [Sasoi and Anoosh]( Sasoi and Anoosh are cousins whose families lost their homes in the floods. When the rain finally stopped, they began visiting a Temporary Learning Center that Save the Children set up. There they made new friends, continued their education and began to recover from the trauma they experienced. We also provided their families with cash assistance to rebuild their homes and pay for essentials. Your support helps make all this and more possible. As the climate crisis threatens communities around the world, you’re helping children and their families build resilience. When a crisis strikes – be it a flood, hurricane, conflict or disease outbreak – you’re helping provide immediate lifesaving aid and supporting long-term recovery efforts. Because of you, millions of children around the world have hope for a brighter future. As we continue working to ensure all kids have the resources and care they need to achieve their dreams, your support can make a critical difference. [Please, will you make a donation today to help more children around the world grow up healthy, learning and safe?]( [support children now]( Thank you for all you do to support the world’s children. Your partnership is so important to help all children have the futures they deserve. Save the Children P.S.
