Please rush support for children in urgent need. [Save the Children]( [When headlines fade, hunger remains. "Sudan war threatens world's largest hunger crisis." – Al Jazeera]( Civil war erupted in Sudan nearly a year ago, displacing more than 8 million people. As we see in so many communities experiencing conflict, the violence has only worsened existing problems, including the hunger crisis. Now, some 25 million people, including 14 million children, are in dire need of humanitarian aid. Our Emergency Mobile Health Unit in Sudan is reaching some of them with lifesaving nutrition and health care. Nafeesa* was pregnant with her second child when the conflict broke out and forced her family to flee their home in Khartoum, leaving them struggling to afford food, medicine and other basic necessities. Our mobile health care team provided prenatal checks, delivery support and postnatal care – and Nafeesa was able to safely deliver her baby boy, Yaqub,* and receive the medicine she needed to recover. As families like Nafeesa’s* struggle with hunger and affording necessities, donating to protect them now couldn’t be more important. A generous group of donors is matching all gifts up to our $75,000 goal, so every dollar you give will go twice as far to help children around the world grow up healthy, learning and safe. [Please make a donation now to have your donation matched for at-risk children in Sudan and around the world. Your match offer expires tomorrow, so don’t delay.]( Thank you for all you do to make our world a safer and happier place for children. Save the Children A generous group of donors has donated to a matching gift fund to inspire more donors like you to support our mission, and every dollar you donate will unlock a dollar from this pool.
